幾年前我從喬治亞州搬到北加州，經周三郎校友熱忱引薦，加入了北加州臺北醫學大校友會。這些年來，很榮幸有機會服務北加州校友，擔任副會長、會長等職務，也很幸運地獲得歷屆會長的支持與指導。

我個人一生雖也有過不少大大少少「長」字輩的榮銜，但是頂了「北美臺北醫學大學校友會長會長」的頭銜，確實讓我感受到這頭銜的使命、責任與壓力還真大！

酷暑八月，一趟美國行，收穫滿載，除領略到異國寒冷的夏夜與校友敘舊的溫馨，並再次拜訪加州爾灣分校（UCI）、希望城（COH, City of Hope）、南加州大學（USC），並與UCI與USC等名校簽署交換學生計畫，皆令人大為振奮。
